Overview

Madrago helps subscription businesses recover failed payments. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and company details when you create an account or join our waitlist.

Integration data: when you connect Stripe, we access payment events (such as failed charges and their status) through Stripe's API. We never see or store full card numbers — card data is handled entirely by Stripe.

Usage data: basic analytics about how you use the product, so we can improve it.

How we use your information

To provide the service: detecting failed payments, sending recovery emails on your behalf, and showing recovery analytics.

To communicate with you about your account, product updates, and — if you joined the waitlist — launch news.

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to anyone.

Card data

Madrago never stores credit or debit card numbers. All card updates happen on pages served and processed by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@madrago.com, and we will remove it within 30 days.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and limit access to personal data to what is strictly necessary to operate the service.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before they take effect.
